Hello. My name is Daniel Masin and I'm running for the nomination to be the Conservative Party of Canada’s candidate in Markham Stouffville for the up-coming federal election.
Please email me at danformp@gmail.com if you cannot find an answer to your question.
For those who haven’t been involved in partisan politics or who have never joined a political party, a nomination meeting is how political parties decide who will be their candidates during an election. It is in essence a mini-election before the big election.
Party members who live in the electoral district or riding as it is often called vote at a meeting to determine who will be the candidate that will run in the up-coming election.
To be eligible to vote in my nomination meeting you must live in Markham Stouffville and be a member of the Conservative Party of Canada. You can become a member by downloading, completing, and submitting the membership form
Here to see a map of Markham Stouffville. If you live in the light gray area of the map, you can vote in the nomination meeting after you purchased your membership.
The Conservative Party of Canada hasn’t decided yet on the date for the nomination meeting. But it is important that you purchase your membership now to guarantee that you are a member and voter eligible.
There are many ways you can help. The first is to buy a membership and encourage your friends, family and neighbours who share your conservative values to purchase a membership too.
You can organize a meet and greet where I would speak with your friends, family and neighbours who may need a little bit of encouragement to join the party.
Then of course I will need you to come out and vote at the nomination meeting. If you have time to volunteer and help during that day that would be a tremendous help.
Please contact me if you have any questions. The only way that I can win is with your support.
