Daniel Masin's Biography
My name is Dan Masin. I am first generation Canadian and extremely fortunate and proud to call Canada my home.
We have had eight years of a divisive government putting East against West culture against culture religion against religion, this is tearing Canada apart. This is the primary reason I am seeking the candidacy to become the next MP for Markham Stouffville with the Conservative Party. I see us all unique individuals with commonalities. We can sit down for hours and discuss things and naturally we will disagree on something but if we focus our energies on the positive and combine our ideas for a better future our children and grandchildren will benefit.
Being in the mortgage industry for the last 20 years, I have received the skills necessary to help people in financial distress see a brighter future. Listening to what someone needs is a skill that not everybody possesses, I have learned that. My customers needs and wants always came first and I became successful because I earned their trust. Building relationships as opposed to trying to sell something to somebody is how I've gone about my career. My career has always been on helping people and fixing problems. My life experiences can be transposed quite easily for the job of member of Parliament with your trust in me.
All three levels of government are broken, there is no accountability. It is no wonder that the majority of people distrust our government. I intend on making the wonderful people of Markham Stouffville trustworthy of my position. Others seek this position for prestige or for money. I seek this position because I've been passionate about this my entire life.
I've lived in the Markham area since 1971. I love my town and I want to give back to you, try and make your lives more prosperous, safer and happier.
